PURPOSE: To prevent a contact defect due to the damage on connection terminals of an IC memory card by providing a groove for prevention of reverse insertion, which is formed in an IC memory card, with an insertion/extraction frequency display part on which the frequency in insertion to/extraction from a connector is displayed and recognizing the accurate frequency in insertion to/extraction from the connector of the IC memory card.

CONSTITUTION: Asymmetrical grooves 13 and 14 for prevention of reverse insertion are so formed that a card way not be reversely inserted in end parts of an IC memory card 10 for the purpose of preventing reverse insertion, and these grooves 13 and 14 are provided with insertion/extraction frequency display parts 15. The insertion/extraction frequency display part 15 consists of plural layers, and the use permission area layer is white, and the use dangerous area layer is red. A connector is brought into contact with insertion/extraction frequency display parts 15 of the IC memory card 10 and these display parts 15 are worn at each time of inserting or extracting the IC memory card 10 to or from the connector, and the use permission area layer and the use dangerous area layer appear in accordance with the frequency in insertion/extraction, and the frequency in use is visually confirmed.
