PURPOSE: To secure high reliability without being affected by the weight and shapes of valuables by connecting a detection part which performs burglary detection and an alarm part which generates an alarm when the detection part detects burglary by radio.

CONSTITUTION: This device is provided individually with the detection part 18 which performs the burglary detection and the alarm part which generates the alarm when burglary is detected; and the detection part 18 receives burglary information when an article such as valuables is taken away and the alarm part generates the alarm by receiving the burglary information sent from the detection part 18. For example, when the detection part 18 is incorporated in a pedestal 20 where a Buddhist statue is placed, the burglary information is sent from a transmitting circuit if the Buddhist statue is taken away from the pedestal 20. The alarm part once receiving the burglary information by a receiving circuit 29 generates the alarm from an alarm part alarm generating means 33. Therefore, the detection part 18 and alarm part are connected to each other by radio to eliminate the need for wiring between them, and the high reliability is obtained without being affected by the weight and shapes of valuables.
