PURPOSE: To produce a reliable shutoff state for securing the safety by always energizing rotating force in the shutoff direction of a plug body to lock a rotary shell, and when outside temperature becomes above fixed operating temperature, relieving the locking of the rotary shell to instantly rotate a plug body in the shutoff direction.
CONSTITUTION: When a safety lock button 90 is pushed, and a control handle 4 is rotated within the range of 90, a plug body 20 is rotated through a rotating shaft 40 to open and close a gas flow path. In this case, since the flange of a rotary shell is prevented from rotation by a locking member 71, the rotary shell 50 where rotating force in a plug closing direction is always energized by a rotating spring 55 can not be rotated by the rotary operation of the handle 4. When outside temperature becomes above fixed outside temperature in the state of an opened plug, the locking member 71 moves back as the alloy block 72 of a thermosensible locking means melts and flows out. The flange is therefore relieved from locking, and the abutting piece of the rotary shell 50 is rotated in the shutoff direction of the plug body 20 by rotative energizing force through the engaging convex part of the plug body 20 to close the plug body.
