Abstract:
An information processing system comprises a user-interface apparatus that includes a plurality of functionally different coordinate input devices, each being operative to locate a respective one of user-generated stimuli for thereupon providing respective data representative of the respective user-generated stimulus. The system is rendered downwards compatible to run a single-input-device application program for processing data furnished by any of the plurality of coordinate input devices.
