Abstract:
Patterned spunlaced fabrics formed of synthetic fibers and woodpulp and/or woodpulp-like fibers are disclosed having very low wet and dry particle counts and good absorbency. The patterned spunlaced fabrics according to the invention are particularly useful as cleanroom wipers, robotic covers, food service wipes, and as coverstock for sanitary napkins, diapers, surgical body part bags, and the like.
