Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a high resolution with compact constitution by corresponding the input area of an input part and the display area of a display part in an arbitrary ratio. CONSTITUTION:A setting means (input/output processing part) 5 which sets the overall area or a partial area on the display screen of a display part 4 correspondingly to input areas of input parts 1 and 2 (tablet 1 and stylus pen 2) and a converting means 6 which multiplies input coordinates inputted to input parts 1 and 2 by a prescribed magnification to convert the input coordinates to coordinates in the area set by the setting means 5 are provided. Consequently, an area on the display screen of the display part 4 is arbitrarily set correspondingly to the input area of input parts 1 and 2, and input coordinates inputted from input parts 1 and 2 are enlarged or reduced and are displayed on the display screen. Thus, high-resolution input is possible regardless of the small area of the input part because input coordinates from input parts 1 and 2 are enlarged and displayed on the display screen.
