Abstract:
PURPOSE:To absorb impact load while completely preventing mounted machines from being damaged by a method wherein a buffer member is formed of a consumable cushion formed of a honeycomb material having specific compression strength and a fixed cushion located along an inner periphery of the consumable cushion. CONSTITUTION:A buffer member 11 comprises a consumable cushion 12 and a fixed cushion 20. The consumable cushion 12 consists of a main body 13 and a side protection member 15 which are formed of paper honeycomb materials 14,16 having specified compression strength respectively. The fixed cushion 20 has higher compression strength than those of the honeycomb materials 14,16 constituting the consumable cushion 12 respectively, while it consists of an upper exposed part of the main body 13 of the consumable cushion 12 and a wall 25 for covering the inner face of a side protecting member 15. A supporting member 26 is attached to the inner surface of the fixed cushion 20 while a cushion material 27 made of an elastic material such as rubber, expanded plastic is attached to the inner face of the supporting member 26. The buffer member 11 is mounted stably and easily to each of upper corners of a moving shelter 1.
