PURPOSE: To uniformalize oil for releasing on the roller surface of a fixing device with which toner images come into contact and to prevent toners from sticking to the roller surface by providing the device for uniformalizing the oil applyed for releasing on the roller surface.

CONSTITUTION: The device is provided with a heating roller 17 for fixing in the lower part and a press contact roller 16 in the upper part and is provided with a coating member for applying the silicone oil on the surface of the press contact roller 16 in the upper part and a turning roller 16B for uniformalizing the silicone oil applied to the downstream side and turning in the direction reverse from the rotating direction of the press contact roller 16. Namely, the surface of the roller 17 for fixing with which the toner images come into contact is coated with the silicone oil by a silicone oil supplying member 16A. An oil leveling off member 16D which rotates in the direction opposite from the rotating direction of the roller coated with the silicone oil and is pressed by a spring 16D is provided on the downstream side of the silicone oil supplying member 16A.
