Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable manufacturing and assembling of tampon applicators to be done and achieved at less expense on points of machinery and time by connecting the outer face of a slide, at least a point, near at the front tip of the same to the inner wall of a grip-piece through prescribed fracture points. CONSTITUTION: An approximate cylindrical outer sleeve 12, which is intended and constituted to store a tampon 14, is inserted with a hollow grip-piece 16 in a condition that the same is unmovable to a direction of an axis at the back end of the sleeve 12, and a slide 18 is arranged in a condition that the same is movable to the direction of the axis. In the tampon applicator made of plastic especially for female sanitary protection goods, the outer face of the slide 18 is connected to the inside 13 of the grip 16 at the vicinity of a front tip of the slide by, at least one, prescribed fracture points 20 and 24. As a result, the manufacturing and assembling of the tampon applicator is achieved with much less expenditure at the points of machinery and time.
