A load sensor (3) is installed along with the wheel speed sensor, and the load signal for each wheel is fed to a control (2) along with the wheel speed signal. The transverse acceleration and/or center of gravity height are calculated using the load signal, and wheel speed signal, depending on drive status of vehicle, using a specific algorithm.
