PURPOSE: To ensure the easy and quick seal with a small amount of a sealing material, and provide excellent insulating characteristic, assembling precision, and mechanical strength by providing a fitting surface continued to the upper edge part of the outer circumferential surface of a box base block.
CONSTITUTION: A box base block 20 for housing an electromagnet block 10 including a permanent magnet 30 is fitted to a box case 50 together with a contact shoe block 40, and a sealing agent is injected into the void between them and hardened to provide an electromagnetic relay. At that time, terminals 21-24 protruding from about the upper edge part of the outer circumferential surface of the box base block 20 are curved down from the base parts and protruded from the case opening part. A fitting surface 25 continued to the upper edge part of the outer circumferential surface is also provided. A sealing material guiding inclined surface 26 is preferably provided on the side surface edge part near the bottom surface. Further, an outward curved part provided in the middle part of the terminals 21-24 is evenly fitted to a notch part 51 provided on the case 50.
