Title:
HYPERTHERMIA DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0723999
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shorten the work hours required for an operator to make preparations by automating the operations required to supply cooling water to an applicator.

CONSTITUTION: When a signal to start preparation of a cooling system is input to a cooling system control means 13 by a means 14 for starting preparation of the cooling system, an inner pump 3 is operated by the control means 13 and valves 6, 8 are closed and valves 7, 9 opened so that cooling water is supplied to a cooling water pot 4 from a cooling water tank 2 by a predetermined route. Next, when the cooling water is supplied into the pot 4 by a predetermined amount, the control means 13 closes the valves 6, 9 and opens the valves 7, 8 in response to a signal from a cooling-water pot monitor means 11, so that the cooling water in the pot 4 is circulated through a predetermined courses and adjusted to the set temperature by a cooling water temperature control means 5. After the cooling water has reached the set temperature, the control means 13 closes the valve 9 and opens the valves 6, 7, 8 in response to a signal from the monitor means 12, so that the cooling water is supplied to an internal cavity applicator 1 by a predetermined route and that air in a cooling water circulating line is removed.
