Abstract:
To reduce an error component in extraction of the phase of a ship even under an environment where clutter is strong.SOLUTION: An ISAR radar device of an embodiment estimates the relative speed of a target from a received radar signal, corrects the phase of the received radar signal on the basis of the estimated relative speed, and generates an ISAR image from the result of correction. For a relative speed, the received radar signal is inputted, the amplitude levels of range cells are summed in each of a plurality of range scopes which are divided in the range direction, and determination is made as to whether or not the summed amplitude level exceeds a threshold. Only the range scope exceeding the threshold is specified as the object of correction, a phase difference between pulses is detected with respect to the specific scope, and the relative speed is estimated from the detected phase difference between pulses.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
