Abstract:

To provide an ibuprofen-containing tablet, solving tableting problem in production, and having reduced irritating taste of the contained ibuprofen, especially bitter taste while using the formulated components of a pharmaceutically widely used preparation.

The ibuprofen-containing tablet is obtained by mixing (A) granules containing 30-35 wt.% ibuprofen based on the whole weight of the preparation, and (B) granules containing 15-20 wt.% anhydrous caffeine and 10-15 wt.% allylisopropyl acetylurea based on the whole weight of the preparation, adding three materials of a crystalline cellulose, light anhydrous silicic acid and corn starch thereto as tableting assistants, formulating magnesium stearate and talc as lubricants therewith, and tableting the resultant mixture. The proportion of the three materials of the crystalline cellulose, the light anhydrous silicic acid and the corn starch as the tableting assistants to be added is regulated so as to be (60-65):(10-15):(20-30).
