PURPOSE: To manage the variance of work contents in every day of the calendar by providing storage areas, whose number corresponds to the number of days of the calendar, in an IC card and recording the classification code of work correspondingly to each day.

CONSTITUTION: A microprocessor 21 decodes commands of the text obtained from a terminal equipment 23 to successively record daily work data in daily work history information areas 14 of a memory 1 in an IC card 2 and reads recorded data in accordance with the command from the terminal equipment 23. The microprocessor 21 records the monthly sum total and the annual sum total sent from the terminal equipment 23 in recording positions corresponding to respective attendance items of a monthly sum total attendance information area 15 and an annual sum total attendance information area 16 and reads out recorded data in accordance with the command from the terminal equipment 23.
