Abstract:
PURPOSE: To execute data communication smoothly on infrastricture selected arbitrarily from plural infrastructures from the same system device using an IC card radio modem.
CONSTITUTION: This IC card radio modem is equipped with an IC card unit 1 consisting of an interface part 13, a control part 14, a memory part 16 and an infrastructure interface part 15, and plural infrastructure correspondence parts 10A to 10N, each of which is constituted of an interface part 101 which performs connection control with the IC card unit 1 by a control procedure decided in advance, a control part 102 and an infrastructure network correspondence interface part 103 and multipoint-connected to the IC card unit 1. A communication system using a modem can perform the data communication with a desired infrastructure via an arbitrary infrastructure correspondence part designated by the system device without switching the IC card unit 1.
