Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the reader simplified in structure and small in size by reducing the number of components.
SOLUTION: A swing member 46 supported so that it freely swing on a shaft 41 is provided with a couple of two-pronged arm parts 46a and 46a. The swing member 46 is fitted with a support plate 47 having a cut 47a formed and a contact case 48 provided with a contact 49 is fixed to the lower end part of the support plate 47. To the support plate 47, a leaf spring 51 is fixed so that a tongue piece 51a faces the cut 47a and a cam 53 faces the tongue piece 51 of the leaf spring 51. The swing member 36 rotates and the arm 46a engages a pinch roller 40 facing a conveyor roller 23, so that the contact 49 comes into contact with the electrode part of an IC card.
