PURPOSE: To effectively prevent a crack to be generated on a center core sheet from being spread to an overlay film.

CONSTITUTION: Overlay films 2, 3 are fused thermally to both sides of a center core sheet 1 comprised of a thermoplastic resin such as polyvinyl chloride and a card substrate 10 is formed. Then a holding part 6 for holding an IC module is formed on the center core 1 and the IC module 7 is held within the holding part 6. Then prior to sticking of the overlay films 2, 3, a printing layer 8 is formed on a sticking face to the overlay films 2, 3 by printing extending over a range which is on a position facing on a part of the holding part 6 and covers an end fringe of the holding part 6 and the overlay films 2, 3 and a center core sheet 1 are formed so that sticking (fusing) among them is prohibited.
