To prevent the disconnection of wiring even when a IC card is bent by securing rigidity of a reinforcing plate larger than those of a substrate and a cover sheet and also extending the wiring to the outside of an IC chip via a cut part of the reinforcing plate.

An IC chip 13 is placed at a prescribed part of a substrate 23 and the wiring 11 extending to the outside of the chip 13 is electrically connected to a prescribed part of the chip 13. Then a reinforcing plate 12 which is larger than the chip 13 and has the cut parts 10 at its fringe part is prepared above or under the chip 13. The plate 12 has its rigidity larger than those of a substrate 23 and a cover sheet 21. As a result, the wiring 11, the substrate 23 and the sheet 21 are never strong bent owing to the plate 12 existing on both sides of the wiring 11 even when an IC card is strongly bent.
