PURPOSE: To prevent the insertion of an IC in a defective socket when the IC is inserted in a board and to enable classificatory reception due to an IC operation inspecting result at the time of the extraction of the IC from the board.

CONSTITUTION: An operation condition input means 32 takes out the defective socket data of a working board from a data memory medium 4 at the time of the insertion of an IC and also takes out the inspection result of the working board at the time of the extraction of the IC and transmits both data to a control part 2. By this constitution, the insertion of the IC in the defective socket is prevented at the time of the insertion of the IC and the IC taking-out work on the defective socket of the next process becomes unnecessary. Further, classificatory reception due to an inspection result becomes possible at the time of the extraction of the IC and the classifying work in the next process becomes unnecessary.
