To provide a product information display system which employs not only the information of tags but also the memory contents of the tags as information storage contents, and is easily displayed by a reader/writer without being connected to a network.
The product information display system 300 is equipped with for example product shelves 30 to display a plurality of products, products a1 to h1 with IC tags storing ID to identify the IC tags of the products, product tags A to H storing the information concerning the ID of the products and a handy reader 31 provided at a cargo 33 and to read information stored for products, a memory 34 to store information read by the handy reader 31, a monitor 32 to display the content read from the memory 34, and an information terminal 36 having a communication means to perform communication between a monitor 35 reading information stored in the IC tags attached to the products and displaying the detail with the network 37.
