Title:
ICE HEAT STORAGE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3141777
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a heat transfer pipe from being locally cooled owing to a liquid droplet refrigerant scattering from a gas/liquid interface in an ice heat storage device for producing supercooled water with the aid of a liquid filled type shell-and-tube heat exchanger for production of ice.
SOLUTION: In the ice heat storage device, a refrigerant circulation circuit and a water circulation circuit are provided, and water is cooled into a supercooled state with a heat storage heat exchanger (42), and further ice nuclei produced in an ice nucleus producer are mixed with time water to eliminate the supercooled state for ice making. In the device, the heat storage heat exchanger (42) is constructed with a liquid filled shell-and-tube type where a plurality of heat transfer pipes (49, 49,...) are disposed in a container (48), and water is directed to flow in the heat transfer pipes (49) and a refrigerant to flow outside the heat transfer pipe (49). A connection position of a piping (51) on the side of line same where a refrigerant is taken out with respect to the container (48) is set to be a lower position away by a predetermined interval from the upper end of the container (48) to lower a gas/liquid interface (G) of the refrigerant whereby a floating space (C) for a liquid droplet refrigerant is formed on thwe upper side of the gas/liquid interface (g).
