Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain easily ice made in the form of sherbet by freezing a physiological saline.
CONSTITUTION: An ice making device 10 produced sherbet-like ice I for cooling the affected part after a surgical operation and is provided with a cooling unit 20, which abuts against and receives the bottom of a flexible bag-like member A of a soft thin film wherein a physiological saline is put, and an ice making mechanism unit 30, which supports the upper part of the flexible bag-like member A and moves it. In the ice making mechanism unit 30, a lower ring member 40 is supported on a base B movably around a center line C1 arranged horizontally so as to be inclined to both sides from its horizontal posture, and an upper ring member 50, which is arranged to be superposed on the lower ring member 40 and opens the upper part of the flexible bag-like member A to mount it to said member 50, is supported on the lower ring member 40 movably around a center line C2 normal to the center line C1 of the lower ring member 40 so as to be inclined to both sides. Further, a drive unit 60 is provided, which permits the upper ring member 50 to move in a manner similar to a hulling motion by performing alignment between the upper ring member 50 and the lower ring member 40 and moving them so as to incline independently.
