Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making machine capable of avoiding effectively the insufficiency of ice making capability and also accomplishing the reduction of a quantity of water to be consumed in a water-cooling condenser. SOLUTION: This ice making machine 1 is provided with a cooling device 2 comprising a compressor 4, a condensing unit, an expansion valve 8 and a cooler 9, which are connected to one another with pipings successively in the form of a ring, and ice making is performed by the cooler 9. The condensing unit is constituted with an air-cooling condenser 5, which is air-cooled by a blower 13, and a water-cooling condenser 6, which is cooled by circulating water. In this condensing unit, three cooling modes i.e., an air/water-cooling mode operating the blower 13 and allowing the circulation of water, an air- cooling mode operating the blower 13 and checking the circulation of water, and a water-cooling mode stopping the operation of the blower 13 and allowing the circulation of water, are practicable.
