To provide an ice making system for snow to form natural snow into a granular ice state (granular ice) through simple constitution as a low outside temperature in winter is effectively utilized and a running cost is suppressed to a low value, facilitate carriage and storage, increase utilizing cold heat energy, and perform storage for a long period.
Snow and water are mixed together and carried to a granulating machine 3. The mixture is compression-molded in a granular state and as it drops in the internal space of a cold air flow ice machine 4, it is brought into contact with cold air jetted from a lower part to produce granular ice. The granular ice is conveyed to a cyclone separator 12 by a high-speed cold air current for separation. Only the granular ice is stored in a granular ice storage warehouse 13. Cold air generated therein is utilized for cooling of a building and as a cold heat source for a low temperature cold insulation warehouse and agricultural growing in greenhouse.
