Title:
ICE-MAKING TYPE FRESHWATER GENERATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61212379
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To keep the temp. of water in a freshwater vessel constant without consuming a large amt. of water and electric power by operating the second cooler by the signal with respect to the freshwater vessel outputted when the water level is increased to more than a set value and the signal outputted when the temp. is increased to more than a set value and stopping an ice-freeing device.

CONSTITUTION: Ice is made by using the first cooler 9 while circulating raw water in a raw water vessel 2. A device E for freeing ice, a freshwater vessel 3 for storing freed ice blocks and a heater 12 for melting iceblocks stored in the freshwater vessel 3 are provided in this ice-making type freshwater generator. A detector 16 for detecting the water level when the level is increased to more than a set value and a detector 14 for detecting the temp. of freshwater are provided to the freshwater vessel 3 and the second cooler 15 for cooling freshwater is furnished. The cooler 15 is operated by the signal of the detector 16 outputted when the level is increased to more than a set value and the signal of the detector 14 outputted when the temp. is raised to more than a set value and the device E is stopped under the command of a provided control circuit. Namely, the water temp. in the freshwater vessel can be kept constant without using a large amt. of water and electric power.
