Abstract:
To provide an ice protection system and an H-shaped heater that are capable of preventing ice from growing in a joint area of an aircraft component.SOLUTION: An ice protection system for an aircraft component comprises multiple heaters. The aircraft component has at least two parts and a joint area. At least one of the heaters is an H-shaped carbon allotrope heater which is designed to heat the joint area to prevent ice from growing in the joint area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
