To provide an ice storage device, contriving the sufficient enlargement of an ice filling space, permitting the increase of an ice making efficiency and compact in the structure of the same.
An ice storage device is provided with a heat storage tank 1, whose upper face is opened and which stores water or an aqueous solution while being equipped with a water intake unit on the bottom wall 1a of the same, a pump 6, taking water or an aqueous solution from a water intake port 3 and sending the water, a supercooler 9, introducing the sent water or water solution and effecting heat exchange between the water or the water solution and refrigerant in a refrigerating cycle to change the water into supercooled water, a nozzle 5, injecting the supercooled water, and a supercooling releasing body 2, receiving the injected supercooled water and releasing the supercooled condition of the same to supply produced ice into a heat storage tank. In this case, the supercool releasing body 2 is constituted of a releasing unit 23, receiving the supercooled water injected from the nozzle and releasing the supercooled condition to produce ice, and a filter unit 22, partitioning a water intake unit in the heat storage tank and passing only the water or the aqueous solution, which are constituted integrally.
