Title:
ICE THERMAL STORAGE AIR-CONDITIONING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002372260
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an ice thermal storage air-conditioning apparatus, in which a heat-storage tank for storing supercooled water with ice as thermal storage medium and heat exchangers for conducting heat exchange with refrigerant in indoor and outdoor units are combinedly provided, thermal efficiency is improved the shape is simplified to facilitate the manufacture, and an expensive check valve is eliminated to reduce the cost.

In this apparatus, there are provided water pumps for supplying supercooled water with ice as thermal storage medium in the heat-storage tank and pairs of water heat exchangers for conducting heat exchange between the supercooled water and the refrigerant. Circulating water pipe-lines in pairs of the water pumps and water heat exchanger have independently mouths in the heat-storage tank for respective water pumps. Thus, the water in respective circulating water pipe-lines flow without reduction in the force of the current, and it is sprinkled on the ice in the tank, appropriately melts the ice without delay and unused ice left in the center part. Thus, the thermal efficiency is increased.
