Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an icon displaying system which can display the icon at the position desired by a user with the easy input operation.
CONSTITUTION: The system has an instruction button coordinates deciding part 6 to decide whether or not the coordinates detected by an X/ Y coordinates detecting part 4 are on an icon instruction button B on a screen, an icon instruction detecting part 7 to detect the instruction of the icon instruction button B based on the input from the instruction button coordinates deciding part 6 and the input from a click detecting part 5, and an icon displaying position deciding part 8 to decide the position to display the icon based on the signal input from the X/Y coordinates detecting part 4 after the icon instruction and the click detecting part 5. An icon displaying position control part 10 reads the data concerning the icon image corresponding to a window W to which the icon is instructed, from an icon image memory 9 and performs the control to display the icon at the icon displaying position decided by the icon displaying position deciding part 8.
