PURPOSE: To surely and easily collate an identification by simultaneously displaying an image to be collated, which is obtained from the identification as the collation object, and an image for collation, which is based on image data for collation preliminarily stored in a data file, on a display device.

CONSTITUTION: When an identification 10 is read by an image reader 20 and is projected as an image 31 to be collated on a display device 30, image data 32 for collation is called from a data file 25 generated at the time of issuing the identification 10 and is displayed also on the display device 30. In this case, contents or the like of person confirmation data of the identification are displayed on demand. Thus, a clerk easily confirms whether the identification is issued or not and whether it is identical with the issued identification.
