Abstract:
To identify a person on an electronic notice board on a network.
In a display system having user terminals and a display unit for displaying statements from the user terminals, the display unit publicly opens verification means for verifying secret information and produces secret information responsive to the first statement from the first user terminal and transmits it to the first user terminal; the first user terminal transmits the secret information and the second statement to the display unit; the display unit displays information responsive to the secret information and the second statement; and the second user terminal obtains the secret information and verifies the secret information by the use of the verification means.
