Abstract:

To easily assemble idle gears and an idle gear shaft in a sub-assembled condition on a transmission without interference with other structures than the transmission.

Reverse idle gears 41, 42 (the idle gears) are arranged on a reverse idle gear shaft 9 (the idle gear shaft) in an axially movable manner. A thrust washer 49 (a washer) is provided on a barrel sectional portion 9c (a deformed sectional portion) formed by cutting off the reverse idle gear shaft 9 at its front end 9b, in an axially movable manner. Furthermore, a ring member 71 (an anti-come-off member) for anti-come-off operation is arranged near the front end of the barrel sectional portion 9c. The reverse idle gears 41, 42 and the thrust washer 49 are assembled on the transmission A so as to be located at the front end 9b of the reverse idle gear shaft 9.
