Title:
IDLE ROTATION CONTROL DEVICE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3876609
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain an engine rotational frequency by correcting an amount of intake air in the case where an external load is varied and in this case, to prevent a fluctuation of the engine revolution number caused by a response delay.
SOLUTION: In the idle rotation control device of an internal combustion engine, an idle revolution number of the internal combustion engine to which external load is applied is controlled by at least one of an amount of intake air and an ignition timing. The device is provided with a target air amount set means for determining a target air amount corrected based on the external load (Step S6); a revolution number presumption means for presuming a transient revolution number of the internal combustion engine at the time of changing the amount of intake air to the target air amount (Step S8); and correction means for further correcting the amount of intake air or correcting an ignition timing based on a deviation of the presumed revolution number and an actual revolution number of the internal combustion engine at that time such that the deviation becomes small.
