To improve operability and the like when an outer load is released and applied by concentrating an air-fuel ratio by reducing an air supplying rate when a load is reduced, and controlling an in-cylinder air-fuel ratio so as to set to a target air-fuel ratio according to an operating condition when an injection fuel rate is reduced according to the reducing rate of the load.
In a device in which a signal form an air conditioner switch 21 is inputted into a control unit 15, when an air conditioner switch flag is changed from 0 to 1, the increased injection fuel rate when an air conditioner load is applied is calculated. A target air-fuel ratio is calculated after the air conditioner load is applied, and an increasing air rate is found out from the increased fuel rate and the target air-fuel ratio after the air conditioner load is applied. When the flag is changed from 1 to 0, the reduced injection fuel rate when the air conditioner load is released and a target air-fuel ratio after the air conditioner load is released are calculated, the reducing air rate after the air conditioner load is released is found out as a correcting air rate from the reduced fuel rate and the target air-fuel ratio after the air conditioner load is released.
