Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve learning accuracy so as not to lose a chance of learning when rotational fluctuation occurs accompanied with changeover to even stoichiometric combustion for learning an idling air amount.
SOLUTION: In this device, a learned value is renewed by a renewal means 29 based on a feedback correction rate, when learning allowance conditions including an engine idling speed within a specified allowance range are effected. Stratified combustion and even stoichiometric combustion are changed over according to the operation conditions. A combustion control means 30 is operated so as to obtain the stratified combustion at the time of idling. When a normal condition is determined, the combustion state is forcibly switched to the even stoichiometric combustion by a forcible changeover means 32. Until a specified time is passed from the changeover time, the engine speed which is one of the learning allowance conditions is ignored by an engine speed ignoance means 33, when it is determined that the learning allowance condition is effected or not.
