To provide an igniter for moxa, which is safe and can be stored in various forms and carried, and can solve such the problems that though an incense stick is conventionally used for igniting moxa, it produces smoke and ash and inevitably goes out with time and frequent igniting is required, and conventional igniters using an electrically-heated wire can not perform motion of forming the moxa with both hands, heat sensing relaxation motion after igniting, and extinguishing motion, and it is difficult to perform efficient and safe moxa treatment, and the electrically-heated wire cannot be efficiently replaced, which does not deal with actual clinical treatment.

The igniter for moxa enables continuous motion in the moxa treatment by a body 1 which can be held with second and third finger bases. Various ways of carrying are enabled while being matched with use environments and a heating element 3 can be quickly and securely replaced, by a body holding part 4 connected to a battery holding part.
