Title:
IGNITER TRANSFORMER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004111620
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an igniter transformer constituted to attain improvement of penetration breakdown voltage by hardly lowering a wire multiplication rate even when a secondary side coil is flattened, forming an insulating membrane of a uniform film thickness, and facilitating tight coupling between the secondary side coil and a primary side coil.

The secondary side coil 2 of the igniter transformer is composed of a multi-core parallel wire 8 of which the cross sectional view is substantially rectangular after a plurality of single round core wires 7 are fixed to be juxtaposed in the form of one row. The secondary side coil 2 is independently wound as an edge-wise shape of which the outer surfaces which are a long side of the multi-core parallel wire are opposed. The primary side coil 3 is composed of a wide metal thin plate, and wound along the direction orthogonal to the axis center direction X of the secondary side coil 2.
