Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of an unstable or lowered output voltage of a high voltage output unit of a housing of an igniter due to detoured high voltage output leads connected from a circuit board, a much time or a considerably low efficiency of an assembling work of the output unit and a discharge electrode and many component at a high cost.
SOLUTION: An igniter comprises the housing having the high voltage output unit and the discharge electrode. In this case, the housing has a high voltage terminal fixed to a high voltage cylinder and a high voltage coil. The terminal is connected directly to the coil. The discharge electrode has a rectangular electrode connector at one end of a conductor, which is inserted into the terminal.
