Title:
IGNITION CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3827840
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the increase in harness and noise according to the increase in output terminal and the increase in space and cost in an ignition control device detecting ignition/misfire and the presence or absence of a knock by detecting ion current generated between electrodes of an ignition plug at the time of the ignition or a change of impedance.
SOLUTION: In an ion waveform processing circuit 18 detecting a change of ion current a transistor 26 is turned on/off detecting ignition/misfire by an integrating circuit 21 and a comparator 22 and a transistor 27 is turned on/off detecting the presence or absence of a knock by band pass filter 23, an integrating circuit 24 and a comparator 25. These detection signals are can be outputted from a single output terminal 31.
