Abstract:
To provide an ignition device performing a multiple-point ignition at a low voltage.
An ignition device is configured to ignite by a dielectric breakdown of an electrical discharge gap between a center electrode and an outside electrode. The ignition device includes a plurality of circuit elements 50, 60 having electric capacity portions 51, 61 provided between the center electrode and the outside electrode and electrical discharge gaps 45a, 45b connected in series to the electric capacity portions 51, 61, respectively, wherein the circuit elements 50, 60 are connected in parallel, thereby achieving a multiple-point ignition at a low voltage.
