Abstract:
To perform reliable ignition by discharging electricity repeatedly.
A voltage is applied between electrodes of an ignition plug repeatedly by a high-voltage generation circuit, electric discharge is generated plurality of times, and the ignition of mixed air is performed. In-cylinder pressure or the like at ignition timing is changed depending on the ignition timing, however, when the in-cylinder pressure is relatively low, a voltage of each electric discharge is kept constant as indicated in (a), and when the in-cylinder pressure is relatively high, a voltage of electric discharge at initial several times is kept high as indicated in (b). By this, the reliable ignition can be efficiently performed.
