Abstract:

To improve ignitability of an ignition device igniting air fuel mixture including an oxidant and fuel.

The ignition device includes: a heating element 1 having a heat generating region 1a located at a tip protruded from an installation part 100 and generating heat to exceed an ignition temperature of the air fuel mixture Y; and a surrounding wall 2 surrounding at least the heat generating region 1a, enabling passage of gas and flame and capable of holding the fuel N.
