Title:
IGNITION MECHANISM FOR HEATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP06064689
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable an ignition of a burner arranged at a bottom part of a combustion cylinder not only from upward and but also after opening of a can, by providing an operation rod which extends upward from the combustion cylinder.

CONSTITUTION: If an opening member 21 is slid onto a center side while pressing one end 21c of the opening member 21 downward, the other end 21d protrudes outside over an upper edge of a heating container 14. Then, the end 21d is held and started to lift up, a pulling tab 15 is raised by an engaging part 21b to open the heating container 14, which forms an opening. At this time, a tip 18a of an operation rod 18 is released from an engagement with the opening member 21 and stands up. After opening, when the opening member 21 is returned to its horizontal position, the tip 18a of the operation rod 18 abuts on the rear surface of the opening member 21, so that the operation rod 18 is pushed in. Thus, an ignition lever 33 is pushed down to carry our an ignition operation. By this procedure, gas is jetted from a burner 16 and ignition is realized.
