PURPOSE: To relieve shock produced when a fuel is resupplied by maintaining the optimum ignition timing during a specified time since the supply of a fuel is shutoff and by delaying ignition timing when the fuel is resupplied accompanied by a decreased number of revolution.
CONSTITUTION: In a flow chart, FLAG1=1 stands for the operation to have ignition before and FLAG=0 stand for the operation to delay ignitoion timing first. P1 decides whether or not the throttle is fully opened. If the answer is NO, the operation goes to P2, and retrieves the optimum ignition timing responding to the suction air volume and the number of revolution at the time. At P4 through P3, M is output as the value of ignition timing. If the throttle is fully closed at P1, the operation goes to P5 and retrieves the optimum ignition timing corresponding to the number of revolution. P6 decides whether or not the supply of fuel is shut off. If the fuel supply is shut off, FLAG1=0 at P7. P4 outputs M at P5. If the answer is NO at P6, P8 decides whether or not FLAG1=1. If FLAG1=0, P10 and P11 compare the number of counts with the first and second specified values and retrieve the optimum ignition timing responding to the number of counts and outputs at P4.
