Title:
IGNITION TIMING CONTROLLER FOR INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5896173
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve both performances of the heading control in normal and transient times in the heading control using a knocking feedback system by varying angle delaying amount according to both information of acceleration signal and knocking generating interval.

CONSTITUTION: A knocking detecting circuit 41 receives the output of a knock- ing detector 1 to detect whether or not an engine produces knocking. An acceleration detecting circuit 42 receives the signal of an acceleration detector 2 to detect acceleration. A wave form shaping circuit 43 takes out basic ignition timing from the pick-up signal of a distributor 3. An angle delaying amount varying circuit 44 receives the knocking signal generated by a knocking detecting circuit 41 to detect whether or not the knockings take place continuously during a predetermined period so that angle delaying amount per one time of knocking is varied according to the knocking generating condition and the acceleration signal from the acceleration detecting circuit. Thus, both performances can be improved in normal and transient times.
