To provide a low-cost internal-combustion engine ignitor and a method of manufacturing its secondary coil which prevents the positional deviation of a terminal turnably mounted on the flange of a secondary bobbin, with a first and second connectors being integrated with the terminal, so that the second connector takes assumes an escape position and a connecting position.
A terminal 13 is formed in a single body of a base 13a, a first connector 13b formed on one side of the base 13a with the winding end of a secondary wire 12 connected thereto and a second connector 13d, formed on the other side of the base 13a and connected to a high-voltage terminal. The base 13a is turnably mounted on one flange of a secondary bobbin 11 around the axis of the base 13a, so that the second connector 13d assumes an escape position, directed off radially outward from a secondary wire winding region of the secondary bobbin 11 toward its axis, and a connecting position, facing the high-voltage terminal located directed radially outward from the secondary wire winding region.
