To provide an IH cooker to deliciously cook food without scorching it, by applying optimum cooking control in accordance with an amount of food to be cooked.
This IH cooker is equipped with heating coils 4a, 4b to heat an object 2 to be heated which contains food to be cooked, a top plate 3 to place the object 2 to be heated, temperature detecting means 5a, 5b to detect the temperature of the object 2 to be heated, first-third weight detecting means 21, 22, 23 to detect the weight of the top plate 3, and a memorizing means (not shown in the figure) to memorize heating sequence for every cooking menu set up. Based on the heating sequence memorized in advance, the temperature value detected by the temperature detecting means 5a, 5b, and the weight value of the object 2 to be heated, which is operated from the weight value detected by the first-third weight detecting means 21, 22, 23, heating is performed while controlling the output of the heating coils 4a, 4b in a plurality of stages, and even if the weight of the object 2 to be heated fluctuates, it can be heated with proper heating power.
