To provide an IH work coil and an IH heating vessel which allow impedance matching to be achieved by adjusting a distance between the IH work coil and a metallic heating object.
An IH work coil 5 has a Litz wire 11 wound around a heating vessel 3 having a circular cross section and is provided with a support member 13 which is attached along the Litz wire 11 and holds a coil shape of the Litz wire 11. Flexible parts 19 and 21 free of the support member 13 are provided in midway parts of the coil shape of the Litz wire 11, and adjusting support members 15 and 17 are provided which support both end parts 13a and 13b of the support member 13, which face each other in a coil winding direction, on both sides of the flexible parts 19 and 21 and adjust relative positions of both the end parts 13a and 13b to allow the Litz wire 11 to move to and separate from an outer peripheral surface of a body 6 of the heating vessel 3 together with the support member 13.
