Abstract:

To provide an illegal connection detection system for detecting and dealing with the case wherein an illegal terminal device that is not authorized in connection makes an illegal connection to a network by rewriting an IP address or the like or by impersonation.

A terminal device that is authorized in connection to a network stores a dedicated monitor program and executes, from connection start, a routine notification or notification of an event that has possibility of impersonation such as rewriting an IP address of the terminal device. The terminal device illegally connected by impersonation does not have the monitor program. Thus, even when the connection is allowed from a collation of the IP address or the like, communication of the terminal device is interrupted if the routine notification from the monitor program can not be accepted. Even if a terminal device comprising the monitor program is subjected to illegal impersonation such as rewriting the IP address, it is detected and dealt with.
